Hansol Energyon announced on the 15th that it has successfully supplied and installed 120 MW of high-efficiency PV modules at the Saemangeum Solar Phase 1 site.
The project forms part of the Saemangeum Renewable Energy Cluster, and Hansol Energyon’s latest low-carbon certified modules were deployed. The modules carry Korea’s Class 2 low-carbon certification and achieve up to 23.1% efficiency.
A Hansol Energyon spokesperson said, “Having our high-efficiency modules selected for one of Korea’s largest utility-scale PV projects is recognition of our technical competitiveness,” adding, “We will continue to take an active role in large domestic and overseas projects to expand renewable energy deployment.”
Hansol Energyon operates its primary manufacturing base in Ochang, Chungbuk, producing a diverse portfolio — PV modules, Colored PV, sound-barrier PV and more — and recently expanded annual production capacity through additional eco-friendly production lines.
